Hi Stampers.  I know, it’s close to the holiday’s and I should be moving onto holiday cards, but my head just isn’t there yet.  I chose this stamp set today because this month has been “One Wild Ride” – so that’s the stamp set I’m using for today’s card.

The card starts with a Basic Black card base – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. Next up is my favorite part of this card.  I used a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Silver Foil card stock and ran it thought the big shot with the Hexagons dynamic textured impressions embossing folder.  It came out great! stampin Up! Next up was a 2 1/4″ x 4″ layer of Pumpkin Pie card stock, followed by a 2″ x 4″ layer of Whisper White stamped with tire tread tracks in Basic Black ink. On top of that I layered a 4″ x 2.75″ layer of Basic Gray, followed by a 3.75″ x 2.5″ layer of Whisper White.  The Whisper White layer has the motorcycle from Stampin’ Up! One Wild Ride stamped with Basic Black ink. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the Basic Gray layer – giving it a little extra pop.

Inside the card, I used a 5.25″ x 4′ layer of Whisper White card stock.  I used Basic Black ink to stamp the tire treads in the lower right corner.  Pumpkin Pie ink was used to stamp the Route 66 sign in the upper left corner.
