Welcome to the Pals November 2017 Blog Hop featuring some “Anything But a Card”. Thank you so much for joining us today. Sit back and enjoy the view while the Stampin’ Pretty Pals wow you with projects like home decor items, gifts and 3-D items. Maybe even some card sets
Whether you’re just starting the hop, or have come from a previous Pal’s blog, you’ll find the line-up toward the end of my post to help you move along.
This adorable little 3D postal truck gift box was CASE’d from Rachel Tessman of Stamp Your Art Out. You can see her post with all the measurements HERE. This was not an easy project to do, but was soooo worth it! It came out so cute!
I used the thick Whisper White card stock, to give the truck more stability. The USPS logo was printed from the USPS website. Stampin’ Up! Tin of Tags stamp set was used for the (totally appropriate) sentiment on the windshield.
The wheels and headlights were made with Stampin’ Up! punches. Pearl embellishments were added to the center of the wheels. I used self adhesive Velcro dots for the closure on the back of the box. If you like this 3D postal truck, give it a try – it’s a fun project!
Thank you so much for hopping with the Stampin’ Pretty Pals today. Please take a minute to mark your calendar for our next hop on December 13, 2017. Now hop along using the Blog Hop Line-up below. Don’t forget to leave us a comment. We really like that.
Blog Hop Line-up:
Perfect for a gift for my favorite mail gal! Good job converting from a UPS truck.
So cute! Like Lynda said… perfect for my friends in the mailing business!
This is great! I live in a small town and the postal workers know me by name as I’m always in there with lots of packages to send. This would be so cool to make as a little treat to thank them for putting up with me!
Super cute idea – I may have to make one for my grandson!
Warning take pictures first. That’s why mine looks a little tough in the photo. Grandkids think it’s awesome. 🙂
