Hi Stampers. For today’s project I was asked to make “anything but a card”, so I decided it was a good time to make Christmas tags. I needed to get a jump start on them anyway – I have a class coming up December 9th. If you are local in Twin Falls, you can attend live. If you are not local you can order the “class to go” version. Be sure to register here by December 7th. If you order the “class to go”, I will mail you the supplies you need to put these cute things together. (I will mail you the ribbon and card stock pre-cut / pre-punched and ready to go – you can use any stamps you already have or you can purchase a Christmas set from my online store).
I used Cherry Cobbler card stock and Garden Green card stock. Each piece of card stock was cut to 2″ x 4 1/4″. The top row of tags was punched using the triple banner punch and topped with Whisper White card stock cut to 1 3/4″ x 3″. The bottom row of tags was punched using the scallop tag topper punch and topped with Whisper White card stock cut to 1 3/4″ x 3.25″. Each piece was stamped before adhering to the base card stock. (More than one had to be flipped over and stamped on the other side due to a boo boo. I couldn’t have done that if I had adhered the Whisper White card stock first.)
I hope you enjoy this post as well as the other posts in this blog hop. Here is the line up:
