Hi Stampers.
Welcome back for another blog hop – yep, two on the same day! This time I’m hopping along with the Remarkably Creative Blog Tour for December 2017. There theme is also a Sneak Peek: 2018 Occasions & Sale-a-Bration Catalogs! You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
My card features the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set from the 2018 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog. This card starts out with a Blushing Bride card base, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. I used the two part bow and Blushing Bride ink to stamp them randomly all over the card front. I did a second generation stamping with the main part of the bow and a first generation stamping of the accents part of the bow.
Stampin’ Tip: A first generation stamping is when you ink the stamp and stamp directly onto your project. A second generation stamping is when you ink the stamp and then stamp once onto a scrap of paper and THEN onto your project. This gives you a slightly lighter version of the same color.
I then cut a strip of Sky Blue CS 4 1/4″ x 1 1/2″ and wrapped a piece of Whisper White ribbon around the middle and wrapped it around to the back side where I attached it with glue dots before adhering it to the front of my card with fast fuse (this holds a little tighter than snail and a good idea with the extra bulk of the ribbon).
I selectively inked the sentiment with stampin’ write markers, making the top part Blushing Bride and using Sweet Sugarplum on the word YOU and the exclamation mark. I then used the fine-tip glue pen to add some glue over the word YOU and added dazzling diamonds over it. The sentiment was then cut out with the lots of labels framelit die and I used the next size up to cut out a label from Sweet Sugarplum CS to mount it on. I adhered these to the card front with stampin’ dimensionals.
For the interior of the card I used a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Whisper White CS ans stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sugarplum ink. The party blower is made up of four stamps. The base and two ends are stamped in Blushing Bride ink and the stripes were stamped in Sweet Sugarplum ink and then I used the fine-tip glue pen and dazzling diamonds glitter to add a little fun to it.
I hope you like my card and it encourages you to contact your demo (or me, if you don’t have a demo) and get your hands on the new 2018 Ocassions catalog and Sale-a-bration brochure (where you can earn lots of fun exclusive items that are only available for FREE!)

Happy Stamping,
Great card. I love the stamping inside too. Thank you for the inspiration.
Thanks, Libby. I love to do a little something on the inside of all my cards. 🙂
Such a pretty card! I love your colors!
Thank you!
Pretty! I am a fellow SU! consultant and was wondering what you use to list your supplies (e.g. is it InLinkz?)
I use My Stampin’ Blog to create the table that links to my store.
