Hi Stampers.
The Party Pandas send their love and welcome you to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for January 2018. This month our theme is Valentines! You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog or may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
I make my Valentine a shaker card! I started with a Powder Pink card base – 11″ x 4-1/4″ , scored at 5-1/2″. Next up is a 4″ x 5 1/3″ piece of Bundle of Love DSP. The heart was cut from the middle using one of the heart framelits from the Sweet & Sassy framelit dies. I then placed the DSP over the card base and used liquid glue to glue the heart down in place. Use clear accetate to cover the heart in the top shape. (Adhere from the back to hide the edges and adhesive.)
Next I used the foam adhesive strips to create the “well” to hold the dazzling diamonds glitter in place. I used the foam adhesive strips around the outer edge as well. (Note: don’t use Stampin’ dimensionals – they are not the same height. Take it from one who knows… LOL). After the strips are in place, add the glitter. Then remove the backing and carefully place the top layer over the card base. I stamped the panda bear with the balloon. and then placed a post it note over the panda and stamped the balloon two more times – so he had a set of 3 balloons. The “I love you” sentiment from the same set was then stamped inside each balloon
I stamped the little panda with the love not on the inside of the card. To me a card is not “finished” until it has a little something on the inside.
