Hi Stampers. Did you know that March is “National Craft Month”? What a great excuse to get crafty! This blog hop is full of great ideas using Stampin’ Up! Products. My card is made using Stampin’ Up! Petal Palette and the Falling Leaves Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
The card started with a Thick Whisper White card stock – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. I used the Big Shot and the Falling Leaves Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on a 5 1/4″ x 4″ layer of Daffodil Delight card stock. The Daffodil Delight layer was attached with snail adhesive. Petal Palette stamp set has a coordinating framelits set – Birds & Blooms Thinlit Dies. Whisper White card stock was used to cut out the branch of leaves and placed that on the card front towards the top. On the lower part of the card I placed 1/2 of a doily and I used the fancy die to cut out Calypso Coral card stock to place on top of the doily.
Congratulations was stamped in Daffodil Delight ink onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock and cut out with the frame die. The bird was stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with the Daffodil Delight stampin’ blends.
I wanted a little something on the inside, so I used the leaves stamp and Garden Green ink in the upper left and lower right corner. I stamped the dots in Daffodil Delight ink.
