Hi Stampers. Happy Monday! I have another Spring card for you. This handmade card features the Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons stamp set. I have just returned from Las Vegas Nevada and a very exciting Stampin’ Up! event! Bonus was that I got to spend time with my son and his family. My granddaughter is now watching my YouTube channel and wanting to create things along with me. So, keep your eye out for new YouTube videos and Facebook Live coming up soon.
This colorful Spring card is another one from my recent class/class to go. The card starts out with a card base that folds on the left side. It starts out with a card base that is 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″. Next, I cut a piece of Whisper White CS 4 1/2″ x 4″. I created a mask by using the chipboard that comes in the back of our glimmer paper and cutting a circle in it with a large circle framelit from the layering circles framelit dies. I placed this mask over the Whisper White CS and sponged Crumb Cake ink on the bottom of the circle, Marina Mist ink in the middle and Pool Party on the top.
Next up, I stamped the large branch from the Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons stamp set, coming in from the upper right side, in Early Espresso ink. The flowers were then stamped in Powder Pink ink. This was adhered to the card front towards the right side using snail adhesive. The adirondack chair from the coordinating Seasonal Layers framelit dies was die cut from the Wood Textures DSP stack. This was adhered to the card front by using the fine tip glue pen. I then wrapped some Whisper White ribbon around the card to the left of the card front and tied a not on the front of the card. This ribbon is held in place on the interior of the card with mini glue dots.
If you have been following me for a while, you know that I decorate the interior of almost all my cards. This card is lined with a 5 1/4″ x 4″ layer of Whisper White CS. Before adhering it to the card interior, I stamped the small branch in the upper left and the sling back chair frame in the bottom right. Both of these items were stamped in Soft Suede ink. I stamped the the flowers in Powder Pink ink and the fabric to the sling back chair in Perfect Plum.
I love how this card came out – it’s so “springy”. 🙂 If you feel inclined to make this card, I invite you to purchase the items you need in my online store. I’d LOVE to be YOUR Stampin’ Up! demonstrator!!
