Hi Stampers. Today I’d like to share with you one of the cards we made in class last night. This military thank you card uses the Stampin’ Up! Loyal & True stamp set. This is an awesome set for all patriotic and military cards! Since it was flag day, these cards just seemed perfect to do that day. 
Since this was a military thank you card it seemed obvious to use Red, White and Blue. So, the card base is Night of Navy CS, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. For the focal point I used a Whisper White Layer of CS 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8 & a Real Red CS layer 2 3/4″ x 4″. I stamped the Humble & Dedicated sentiment in Real Red ink onto a 2 5/8″ x 3 7/8″ layer of Whisper White CS.
Before adhering the center layers, I stamped the star from the Loyal & True stamp set all over the Night of Navy card base with Night of Navy ink. Next, I attached the next three layers. I stamped the Loyal & True sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto a scrap of Whisper White CS and cut it out with my paper snips. (The Stampin’ Up! badge punch, will punch this out perfectly, but I don’t own it.)
The Loyal & True sentiment badge was adhered to the card front with stampin’ dimensionals. I love how it gave it a little bit of dimension and “pop”.
For the interior of the military thank you card, I cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Whisper White CS. I stamped the soldier on the right side of the layer with Night of Navy ink, letting it hang off the edge a little, giving me more room to write my message.
