Hi Stampers. Well, here we are…. Monday AGAIN!! Thankfully, I work for myself and I happen to LOVE Mondays! Monday’s for me mean a quiet house and a fresh start to a new week. I just LOVE what I do and I LOVE to share this business (or even just the discount) with my friends.
I refer to our starter kit as the “Ultimate Bundle”. It’s the ultimate deal! You pick out $125.00 of current Stampin’ Up! product of your choice and only pay $99 for it all AND they even ship it to you for FREE! There is absolutely no catch!
- If that’s all you decide to do is get that $125 in product for $99 and have it shipped for free – GREAT!
- If you decide to order more product (at a 20% discount – through at least the end of January 2019) – GREAT!
- If you want to make a business out of it – GREAT! (I can help you with that!)
- If you want me to leave you alone – GREAT! (I can do that too).
Every once in a while, Stampin’ Up! announces an even better deal. July is one of those times! If you decide to take advantage of the “Ultimate Bundle” during the month of July – Stampin’ Up! will add (to your already awesome deal) a set of stamp pads from the color family of your choice. That’s an additional $67.50 – with NO CATCH! What do you have to lose?
If you want to take advantage of this AWESOME deal! You can click here to see more info and sign up or you can contact me. I’d be happy to answer any and all questions you may have.
If you are thinking – no thank you, Lisa. I don’t need to save $112.70 (and more) on my Stampin’ Up1 products, I’d rather pay full price, just take me to today’s card. I can do that too!
Today’s card is another card from last weeks fancy fold card class. This one features a lot of new or returning product. I say “or returning” because the card base in done in Mint Macaron, which used to be an “in-color” and it’s now part of our core color collection. This Mint Macaron card base is cut to the standard 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″.
The Designer Series Paper on this card is new in the Stampin’ Up! 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. This DSP is called Tranquil Textures and is part of the big “Stock Up & Save” sale going on right now. (Buy 3 packs of DSP and get 1 FREE). I tell ya – Stampin’ Up! is offering some smokin’ deals in July! I cut a piece of this DSP 4″ x 5 1/2″ and adhered it to the card front with snail adhesive.
For the drapery fold effect on this card, the Designer Series Paper is cut 10″ x 4 3/4″. I then made a tick mark at 3/4″ on one of the 4 3/4″ sides and then turned and marked the other 4 3/4″ side and 3/4″. Next, on the Stampin’ Trimmer I cut designer paper at an angle from tick mark to tick mark. (This will make a drapery fold for two cards). On one of the diagonal pieces, I started at the wide end and score at 2″, 3″, 5″, 6″, 8″, and 9″. It was then accordion folded on the score lines to make your drapery fold. It was then attached to the card front.
Across the top of the drapery fold you can use ribbon or a strip of DSP cut to the size of a ribbon, like I did. This strip of the same DSP was cut to 4″ x 1/2″ and was adhered to the top of the drapery fold with snail adhesive. It needed a sentiment, but I didn’t want to distract from the beauty of the folds, so I brought out my Layering Ovals Framelit Dies and cut a few small ovals. The scalloped oval was cut out of Balmy Blue CS and the smaller oval was cut out of Whisper White CS. I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Wonderful Moments stamp set in Fresh Fig ink. They were attached together with snail adhesive and then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I love that our DSP papers use colors from our color collections, so that matching is always a piece of cake! I pulled the Mint Macaron, Whisper White, Fresh Fig and Balmy Blue right off the label of the pack of DSP. Easy Peasy!!

I love this card Lisa!!!! So pretty and FUN to make! Thanks for sharing!!!!
Thanks, Barbara. You are too sweet!
Love this card and your choice of papers. Thank you.
Thank you, Fran. When I first saw this DSP, I wasn’t sure about it. Some patterns are too bold for me, but the simple backside is awesome. 🙂 Great color combos.
