Hi Stampers. I hope you are having a stampin’ good day!  If you haven’t noticed yet, I stepped out of my comfort zone and started doing Facebook live.  I have to say it kinda freaks me out.  I love YouTube because I can film, edit and put up the best version.  Facebook Live is LIVE errors and all… LOL  But, I’ve done it and I plan to continue, so if you are not a “fan” of my Facebook Page yet. you should go “like” my page and turn on notifications to know when I go live.  Monday I went live to show you how to make a holder for the Stampin’ Blends out of our acetate boxes.  I also gave a demo on using the Stampin’ Blends.  Go check it out.

Stampin' Up! Flourishing Phrases and Picture Perfect Birthday handmade birthday card by Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations

Today’s card starts out how most of them do – with a card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″.  I chose to use Blackberry Bliss cardstock and ink. The main stamping panel is a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White. I stamped the flower flourish from the Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink.  The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Picture Perfect Birthday, it was also stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink. I colored the flowers with the Highland Heather and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers. This layer was attached to the card base with snail adhesive. I used a retired butterfly punch to punch a butterfly out of dazzling diamonds glimmer paper and adhered it with glue dots. (An optional addition would be to put rhinestone or pearl accents on each of the round dots on the flower flourish.)

The inside of the card is lined with a 5 1/4″ x 4″ layer of Whisper White CS.  Part of the flower flourish was stamped in the lower right and upper left corner in Blackberry Bliss ink. The sentiment (again, from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set) was also in Blackberry Bliss ink. I colored the flowers with the Highland Heather Stampin’ Write Marker.  This layer was adhered to the inside using snail adhesive.

This card was quick and easy, yet looks very elegant.  A quick change of sentiments and this could be a thank you, thinking of you or even a sympathy card.  If you’d like to make these for yourself but need supplies, I would appreciate your business.  I have included links to my online store for all supplies used below.

Remember – We are currently celebrating “Bonus Days”, which means for each $50 you spend in August you get $5 to spend in September!
