Hi Stampers.
This card starts with a Real Red card base, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. Next, up is a 5 1/4″ x 4″ layer of Crumb Cake CS and then a 5″ x 3 3/4″ layer of Very Vanilla CS. Before I adhered the Very Vanilla layer to the card, I cut three strips of DSP/CS for the background. Starting with a 1 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ strip of Wood Textures DSP, then a 1 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ strip of Call Me Clover 2018-2020 In-Color DSP and finally a 1″ x 5 1/2″ strip of Very Vanilla CS. I flagged each strip uisng the Banner Triple Punch and adhered them to the Very Vanilla layer. Each strip was the same length, but I adhered them at different spots and then trimmed off the excess of the strips from the back using paper snips. Once trimmed it was ready to adhere to the card front.
The focal point is a reindeer from the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set stamped onto Crumb Cake CS with Early Espresso ink and punched out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. The reindeer was adhered to a Very Vanilla oval and then a Real Red scalloped circle (both cut out with the Layering Oval Framelit dies). Behind that I have looped some gold thread and on the deer I adhered a Real Red bow (cut from the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch) with a glue dot and then a Basic Pearl Jewel on top. I stamped Merry Christmas, from the Star of Light stamp set, in Real Red ink.
The inside of the card is lined with a 5 1/4″ x 4″ layer of Very Vanilla CS. Onto the Very Vanilla layer I had stamped the sentiment (from the Star of Light stamp set) in Garden Green ink in the center and a star in the upper left and lower right corner in Real Red ink.
