Hi Stampers. Are you a dog lover?  I just love my little Sophie.  Sophie is a 3 year old Poodle / Terrier mix.  We got her when she was just 6 weeks old (and visited her from the time she was born). When I worked outside the home, she went to work with me.  Now that I work from home, she’s my constant companion in the studio!

When we moved to Idaho, I knew I had to find a place to have her groomed. A quick check on yelp and I found a place called the Pampered Pooch – that sounded like the perfect fit, and it was!!  They expanded and moved across town to become A Box Of Barks Daycare, Resort & Spa.  Sophie loves it there!  She gets groomed there and stayed a few days while we went on vacation.

I have since made several batches of treats for them to hand out – first for advertising and then to give to doggies who came to have their picture taken with Santa.  These are so fun to make and everyone loved them!

We have at least two great stamps set that work for making these cute bag toppers.  Bella & Friends & a new set called Happy Tails.  These “thank you” ones and the Christmas ones above both use Bella & Friends.

I got the small resealable bags at a big box store and made the topper to fit the image or business card I was working with.  I started with my design (or the business card) and then increased the size by 1/4″ and then doubled the size to allow for it to fold over the top and be stapled to the bag. I stapled before attaching my image so the image layer would cover up the staples.

Who hangs out with you while you stamp?
