Hi Stampers. I want to point out a product in the Stampin’ Up! catalog that you may have missed. The Stamp Cleaning Pad is on page 182 of the 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.

Clean your stamps with the Stampin' Up! stamp cleaner to help remove / prevent stains on photopolymer stamps.

I used this stamp with Lovely Lipstick and Gorgeous Grape ink.  (You can see that post HERE). Both those colors would normally stain the photopolymer stamps.  The Stampin’ Up! Stamp Cleaning Pad helped me clean this stamp to where it almost looks new! How amazing is that!?!?

Note: Be sure to clean the stamp by stamping excess ink onto scrap paper and then use the Stampin’ Scrub or Simply Shammy BEFORE using the Stamp Cleaning Pad to keep your pad as clean as possible. If for some reason, you do get the pad filled with ink, you can rinse off the pad with water, let it dry and then refill with the refill bottle.

This is a stamp from the Abstract Impressions stamp set that I used over a month ago.  It was cleaned using the Stampin’ Scrub and the Simply Shammy and it was still stained.

This is that same stamp AFTER using the Stamp Cleaning Pad on it.  It’s not like brand new, but WAY better than it was! (Note: I tried a few other older stained stamps and the results were not the same, but I do recommend using it on photopolymer stamps immediately after stamping with colors that could stain).
