Hi Stampers. Today we are sharing with you, alternative ideas for the October 2019 – Winter Woods Paper Pumpkin kit. It’s a beautiful kit and next month coordinates with it!
The original design was almost too pretty to make alternatives, so I made it very similar, but a fancy fold easel card.
My card props up for display – since it is so pretty, it can be a Christmas decoration as well as a card!
The label with the sentiment on it, is popped up on dimensionals to hold the card open.
I love how the front has the 3D effect with those trees. I saved the negative of the trees, there is plenty of room in the middle to die cut more things out of that gorgeous shimmer white!

Lisa, super cute card. I really love the fancy fold.
I love the fold you used on this card! Beautiful!
I love it. I also agree this kit was super hard to make an alternate as it was just so beautiful as it was created! Thanks for hopping with us this month!
Agreed! The design is so pretty I didn’t want to change it either! Love the easel card! Need to learn that one!
An easel card!!! Just love how it makes this card even more special!!
A great fancy fold card…it is such a great kit!
Gorgeous easel card Lisa!
Great way to use your card supplies – love your fancy fold!
A gift in a card! LOVE that you made it an easel card!
I hate to ask you but, could you please give me the measurements for the Fancy Fold Easel Card? I understand how to make your card front, which I fell in love with! But, there’s so many confusing directions on how to make this fold!
The card base is 11″ x 4-1/4″. It is scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″. The card front is 4″ x 5-1/4″ and attached to the bottom only of the card front. A label on the inside of card is popped up on dimensionals to hold it open. Does that help?
So clever turning it into a fun fold, while keeping the original beauty of the card!
