Merry Christmas, Stampers! I hope you are blessed to be able to spend this holiday surrounded by love, good health and friends and family to enjoy it with.

Today’s card is another interactive one for you. Dawn Griffith, a fellow demo, did a video on how to do a simple slider card a few years ago.  I believe her cards were birthday cards and I made several Christmas cards with this slider technique. Since it is Christmas, I am combining the three cards into one post.  You can view my Facebook Live video HERE.

Stampin' Up! #Elfie stamp set and Night Before Christmas DSP simple slider card by Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations

My first card here is made using the #Elfie stamp set, Cherry Cobbler CS, Very Vanilla CS and Night Before Christmas DSP.

This is what the card looks like open – revealing the second sentiment.

A Gold Faceted Gem on the end of the slider makes it easier to grip and slide open.

The inside of the card has a layer of Very Vanilla CS with the elf by the pole stamped in the corner. I colored the elf with the Stampin’ Blends and then used the light Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blend to outline the image, giving it a sort of shadow effect.

For my Facebook Live video – I made this second card, showing how I made the first one.  It’s almost the same, I just switched up the DSP  and the elf I used.

I also used the other sentiment from the #Elfie stamp set for the hidden message.

I used a 1″ glimmer paper circle on the pull tab.  The texture of the glimmer paper makes the tab easy to grab and pull out.

Like the first card, the inside of the card has a layer of Very Vanilla CS with the elf by the pole stamped in the corner. I colored the elf with the Stampin’ Blends and then used the light Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blend to outline the image, giving it a sort of shadow effect.

For this third card, I reversed the DSP and the neutral layer.  I know it’s hard to see, but behind that Whisper White layer is a layer of the Wrapped in Plaid DSP.

Because the second layer was a pattern, instead of neutral, I had to add a small strip of neutral to stamp the sentiment onto.

The Santa is colored using the Stampin’ Blends.

The 1″ circle on the pull tab is Sparkler Glimmer paper.

This card had the fold on the top and has a sentiment stamped in Cherry Cobbler and the present stamped in Memento Black, so it can be colored with the Stampin’ Blends.
