Hi Stampers. Have you played with the Dressed To Impress bundle yet?  It is ADORABLE!!  My friend, Lorri Heiling did a FANTASTIC presentation on it at our OnStage event!  She has since made a wonderful PDF of all her adorable projects. You an purchase her tutorial HERE.  Before seeing her tutorial – I tried to replicate a few of her ideas.  While my card is much different, using lipstick for the L in hello was one of those ideas.

Stampin' Up! Best Dressed Hand-Lettered Prose Hello with lipsticks handmade card by Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations

I just love the Dressed to Impress bundle and the coordinating Best Dressed Designer Series Paper. For this card I added the DSP and then used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to make the layers.

I used the Hand-lettered Prose Dies to spell out the word “hello”, replacing one of the Ls with a stamped and die cut lipstick from the Dressed To Impress stamp set. The lipstick was colored with the Stampin’ Blends and Wink of Stella added to the purple to give the lipstick some shimmer.

Since the Best Dressed DSP comes in 6″ x 6″ pieces, when I cut the front at 4″ x 5-1/4″  – I had a 2″ strip and a 3/4″ strip.  I used the 3/4″ strip on the inside of the card as an accent to the inside layer.

To make this version of the card – both the Ls in hello are lipsticks.  One of the pieces of DSP in the Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.  I used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut all the lipsticks out of the DSP.
