Good morning, Stampers, Rise & Shine – it’s time for coffee and a card. I recieved a birthday card with this super cute fold. This is one I haven’t seen before and had to give it a try.
For this card, I paired the Bird Ballad DSP from the 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog with the Rise & Shine stamp set. The Rise & Shine stamp set is a level 2 reward from Sale-A-Bration 2020. It’s also a reversible stamp set, meaning you can use BOTH sides of the photopolymer stamp.
This fold has a cute little tuck in corner where the circles for the sentiment hold the card closed. I also used the masking technique when stamping the “steam”, otherwise it would have been too tall.
Inside the card I used two sentiments. I love the way they are separated. You can use one on the outside and one on the inside and / or you have the option of saying “tea” instead of “coffee”. I just love everything about this card! If you would like to make one of your own, you can follow along in the video tutorial below.

Such a fun, fun fold! Thanks for showing us another use for the Bird Ballad dsp. I always learn something from you! Thanks again for sharing.
This is so cute ! I love love using a little circle to hold the folded section closed !
This goes in my CARDS TO CASE notebook !
I spotted your card on the list of cards in Marys e-mail this morning. I went no further and had to stop to make the card.
You are incredibly talented, and so good at making an awesome easy to follow video. I am finding that I am enjoying card making so much more this year. The ease of using the DSP to make such nice looking quick cards.
I will need to make a couple more of these to put in my BD stash. Birthdays seem to come up so quickly.
Just two days ago I made a rise and shine card to send out for Happy Mail. I am tossing that card idea and putting yours in my book.
Thank you so much for sharing. I will be back.
