Hi Stampers, how is your quarantine going? I have spent most of it making cards and helping my husband with his new laser engraving machine.  When my friend Lorri Heiling made a card using This Little Piggy and adding a face mask to it – I knew I just HAD to try it!

I started with a Balmy Blue card base.  This color blue looked perfect for the sky on a sunny day. One of the dies from the Delicate Lace Edgelit Dies looked like the top of a fancy fence to me and the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper has this pretty green that looked like grass.

I stamped the piggy in quarantine (from the This Little Piggy stamp set) in Basic Gray ink onto Whisper White CS and colored him with the Petal Pink stampin’ blends. Then I die cut that with a circle die and the Petal Pink CS with a scalloped circle die.  To look like sky and grass, I cut a stamping sponge into wedges and sponged some Seaside Spray ink above and Old Olive ink below the pig. The “stayed home.” was typed on my computer and printed on Whisper White CS and punched out using the Classic Label punch.  Download the PDF by clicking HERE.

Next, I stamped the head of the piggy in quarantine onto a scrap of Whisper White CS and fussy cut it out using paper snips. A tiny piece of Whisper White CS with a few score lines in it (from the Simply Scored tool) make the face mask and Whisper White Baker’s Twine make the straps.

I always make the inside of the card coordinate with the outside.  This card was no different.  Seaside Spray sponged on the top and Old Olive sponged on the bottom and a little piggy stamped in the corner.

This little piggy was from the same stamp set and colored with the stampin’ blends.  I’m just tickled pink with how it came out.  I even put some on Etsy for sale. 🙂  If you want more directions on how to make this card, please watch the YouTube video below.  Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel while you are there.
