Hi Stampers. Don’t you just love how detailed this card is? The Mountain Air / Majestic Mountain dies bundle is a great one for Idaho and pairing it with the truck from Pedal to the Metal is perfect! I’m extremely happy that the Mountain Air bundle is sticking around (and keeping the 10% bundle discount!), but the Pedal to the Metal stamp set is retiring as of June 2nd.
I used both sides of the Mountain stamp (yes BOTH sides) to get the solid and detailed mountains. The solid mountains were stamped onto the Very Vanilla layer in Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. Granite Gray ink was used to stamp the moon. For the detailed Mountains, I stamped onto Soft Suede CS with Soft Suede ink and die cutting with the Majestic Mountain dies. I used the detailed side of the trees stamp and stamped onto Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake CS using Mossy Meadow ink. These were also die cut using the Majestic Mountain dies. The dies cut just the top, so I could use the rest of the Crumb Cake layer as the bottom half of my card front.
Mossy Meadow CS was the perfect color to die cut out the trees. The “rocks” were actually made by using the “cloud” stamps in Basic Gray ink onto Basic Gray CS and then die cut with the Majestic Mountain dies. For the Truck I stamped onto Very Vanilla CS in Memento Black ink and colored using the Stampin’ Blends. The truck was then fussy cut and attached to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I kept the inside simple but just stamping the trees along the bottom of a Very Vanilla layer. There is no sentiment in the middle yet, I will add that when I decide who will be getting the card and for what occasion. This leaves my options open. What would you use this card for?
