Hi Stampers.  Welcome to this month’s Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop.  We are all using the May Paper Pumpkin kit – A Kit In Color.  This kit has the new 2020-2022 In-colors that will appear in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog that goes live in a week!

Above photo is what came in the May 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit – below is my alternative card.

This month’s kit was very colorful – I was drawn to the striped card base that had all those bright colors!  For my project, I chose to use one of my favorite folds and incorporate that striped piece of CS.

The panel on the left, has the tag from the kit – aren’t those edges cute?  Then the top layers are three layers, rather than my regular two for the top layer.

Stampin’ Tip: Since the font on this stamp set was so heavy (and the stamps are new – which can make them not hold the ink well), I used the Stamparatus so that I could get that good solid impression.

Inside the card, I used a scrap of the striped layer on the left side of the layer and stamped the other bold sentiment in the middle.  I used the Stamparatus for this sentiment, too.  Aren’t those little epoxy shapes cute?!?!?

I was really happy with how my card came out and then paired it with one of the envelopes from the kit. Looking for even more ideas for this months paper pumpkin kit?  Click the next button below to go to Charmane Hopkins blog for another alternative idea.
