Hi Stampers. Today’s beautiful card features more products that are soon retiring AND two of them are ON SALE! The Tea Together Stamp Set, Tea Time Dies & Country Floral Embossing Folder.
This gorgeous Mother’s Day card started with a So Saffron card base followed by a layer of Whisper White that had been dry embossed using the Country Floral Embossing Folder. After dry embossing, I colored some of the raised flowers and leaves using the Stampin’ Blends.
The tea set was stamped in Soft Sea Foam ink using the Tea Together stamp set and die cut using the coordinating Tea Time Dies. Stampin’ Blends were used to color in the flowers on the tea pot and tea cup. The Happy Mother’s Day sentiment was stamped in Soft Sea Foam ink and die cut using the Ornate Frames dies. I told you they would be useful WAY past Halloween (where it had a coordinating Halloween stamp set). 🙂 That sentiment then had the edges sponged with Soft Sea Foam ink and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I decided to keep the inside simple and just stamp the flowers and sentiment and not color them. This way it still coordinates with the outside, but it still subtle. What do you think? Would you have colored the flowers?
