Hi Stampers. Tulips are timeless, so it’s easy to see how Timeless Tulips got it’s name. They look beautiful in Highland Heather.
This card only uses 3 colors: Highland Heather, Garden Green and Whisper White. Three of the tulips (from the Timeless Tulips stamp set) were stamped directly onto the Whisper White layer and 2 of the tulips were stamped onto Highland Heather CS using Highland Heather ink. Those two were then punched out using the Tulip Builder Punch. They were then adhered using stampin’ dimensionals.
Happy Birthday (also from the Timeless Tulips stamp set) in Highland Heather ink onto Whisper White CS and punched out using the Classic Label Punch. A second label was punched out of Highland Heather CS using the Classic Label Punch.
Stampin’ Tip: I used paper snips to cut the Highland Heather label lengthwise and adhered it to the back of the Whisper White label using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. When i attached it, I attached each piece so that it would look a border. It was then adhered using mini stampin’ dimensionals.
The stems and leaves were stamped onto Whisper White CS. Some of them were stamped directly on the Whisper White layer and some onto scraps and punched out using the Tulip Builder Punch. A few of the leaves are adhered using stampin’ dimensionals to make them pop.
I wrapped some white bakers twin around the Whisper White layer BEFORE I adhered it to the Highland Heather card base and tied a simple bow on the front.
Inside the card is another layer of Whisper White. The sentiment was stamped in the center in Highland Heather ink. A row of small tulips stamped in Highland Heather ink decorate the bottom of the layer. Now, it’s ready to brighten someones day. 🙂
