Hi Stampers. Welcome back – whale done! LOL Today we are playing around with the new Whale Done bundle and a fun fold.
To make this card, I used the Whale Done bundle and the Whale of a Time 6″ x 6″ DSP. This fold is called a peek-a-boo swing fold.
The card base is done in Pacific Point CS and front of the card is covered with the Whale of a Time DSP. I made this bow using linen thread that I colored using the dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blend.
Stampin’ Tip: For the perfect bow – check out this awesome bow maker tool my husband makes.

In the center of the card front, I cut a circle that will peek-a-boo into the inside. The whale was punched out of the DSP using the Whale Builder Punch.
Stampin’ Tip: an additional whale was punched out of Pacific Point CS – the two were glued together before adding to the front of the card to add stability.
Inside the card is a layer of Whisper White CS that is 8″ x 5-1/4″. This layer was scored at 4″ and 6″. The 4″ x 5-1/4″ side was glued to the inside of the card and the other side was folded, as shown above.
The stamping was done on the left side and right side and I put a 2″ strip of DSP (that was left over when I cut the front layer) in the center section.
I die cut a circle the same size as the whole in the front of the card out of Blackberry Bliss and a slightly smaller circle in Whisper White. The sentiment was stamped onto the Whisper White layer in Pacific Point ink and was glued to the Blackberry Bliss layer.
Stampin Tip: To ensure proper placement, I closed the card, put adhesive on the right side (which is the fold out part) and placed the Blackberry Bliss circle into the outside circle.
