Hi Stampers. Today I am stamping with the Global Stamping Friends. They asked us to choose our favorite bundle from the Stampin’ Up! catalogs. Currently, my favorite has to be the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle. My favorite stamp within that set is “because adulting is hard”. That seems like the PERFECT phrase for 2020!!
This card starts with a simple Basic Gray card base followed by a layer of the Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper adhered with our new Stampin’ Seal. Next, I used the Nested Label Dies to die cut a label for the front of my card in Whisper White CS. The sentiments were stamped onto the label using Magenta Madness & Bumblebee inks. This was then attached to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The chocolates are done by stamping the detailed part in Early Espresso ink and then stamping the solid center part in Cinnamon Cider ink. We call this “two-step” stamping. For the cocktails, I stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with the Stampin’ blends. (Although, they too have coordinating solid fill stamps – so you could “two-step” if you wish).
Inside the card is an additional cocktail. (I feel like I need multiples these days). A simple strip of the outer DSP helps continue my theme to the inside of the card. I hope this post inspires you to pull our YOUR stamps, ink and paper and give it a try. Should you need – stamps, ink or paper – I would be happy to be YOUR demonstrator! I’ve been using this set so often lately that the first think that came to mind was “where are her ice cubes?” LOL! Love how you colored it in with blends. Love this bundle!
LOL – yes, I chose stampin’ blends for this card. Thank your for your comment, it made me giggle.
Beautiful card inside and out! I love that sentiment for 2020 – it sure has been a rollercoaster! Thanks for sharing x

Truer words never spoken. Fantastic card Lisa! Love the inside too. Thanks for sharing!
Right!?!? Thank you for your sweet comment.
Great color combo! I forget about grey going with bright colors! Way to highlight it! Fun card! Adulting is hard!
Thank you. I’m not a super bright girl, so adding the grey toned it down for me. LOL
Love the colors you used on your card. I also love this bundle.
