Hi Stampers. Today I have a bright and cheery birthday car for you. This “Happy Birthday” card features two of the new 2020-2022 In-Colors – Magenta Madness & Bumblebee. It also features the new Rainbow Glimmer Paper.
It all started with a Magenta Madness card base, 11″ x 4-1/4″, scored at 5-1/2″. Next, I cut 3″ of one end to get a 3″ x 4-1/4″ piece. I added some of the new In Color Designer Series Paper over the top. The Magenta Madness piece is 2-1/4″ x 4″ and the Bumblebee piece is 2-3/4″ x 4″. I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the DSP to the cardstock.
After adding the DSP, I spun the 3″ x 4-1/4″ piece 90 degrees and centered it on the card from and adhered the left side. For the sentiment, I added a piece of Adhesive Sheet to the back of some of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper and then cut out the “happy birthday” using the Well Written dies. Using the Butterfly Duet Punch – I punched out a small butterfly. These were easy to add to the card front, since they had adhesive sheet on the back – just peel and stick – no mess!
Inside the card is a 4″ – 5-1/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock that can be decorated anyway you want. Enjoy!
