Hi Stampers. How’s the weather where you are? It seems fall / autumn was short lived this year – it’s COLD today! The weather report says that we had snow to the north, west and east of us today and we may get snow overnight. I’m not ready! I love all things fall and the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper is one of those things. The color combo in this paper is gorgeous!
This card starts with an Early Espresso card base, 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. A piece of Gilded Autumn DSP was die cut using the Ornate Layers Dies and then adhered at an angle across the top of a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of the Gilded Autumn DSP. The excess was cut off from the back side and these layers of Gilded Autumn DSP are adhered to the card front.
The “hello” from the To A Wild Rose stamp set was stamped in Cajun Craze ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla CS and was punched out using a 2″ circle punch. This was adhered to a circle of Cajun Craze CS that was cut out using the 2-1/4″ circle punch. The two circles are adhered to the card front. A few in-color enamel dots were adhered to the circles and a bow using the metallic ribbon was attached to the point of the DSP.
Inside the card is another sentiment (also from the To A Wild Rose stamp set) is stamped in Cajun Craze ink onto a layer of Very Vanilla CS. I adhered a 1/2″ x 4″ piece of the DSP across the bottom of the layer to make it coordinate with the front of the card.
