Hi Stampers – Happy Monday! I love Monday’s, they feel like a fresh start. Monday mornings I sit down with my coffee and plan out the day and the rest of the week. Monday afternoon I do a Facebook Live class at 2:30pm Mountain Time on my business page. This gift card holder was something that I taught how to make on one of those Facebook Lives.
It can be hard to figure out what to give a couple as a wedding gift and get cards have gotten quite popular. I have an idea you can use to dress up those gift cards and make it a gorgeous presentation.
These are made using an 8″ x 8″ piece of Peony Garden Designer Series Paper, but could be made using any Designer Series Paper. Hey! Good thing there is a SALE on Designer Series Paper happening this month! It would be good to made some for the upcoming holidays.
Inside the holder, there is a 3-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ layer of Basic Gray CS covered by a 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ Whisper White CS layer. The Whisper White layer was first stamped using the Prized Peony stamp set and Petal Pink ink. This makes it not just gift card holder, but also a card.
A strip of ribbon attached to the backside with glue dots and then tied in a bow on the front. I have included the video of how to do this below. You can see the other two cards in this video HERE and HERE. If you would like to see just how to make this and not the other two cards – fast forward to 22:10 in the video.
