Hi Stampers. Have you seen the Prized Peony Die, it’s so pretty that you don’t really need to do any stamping to make a gorgeous card!  The beautiful Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (currently on sale) makes the perfect backdrop.

This card starts with a Thick Whisper White card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. Next, is a layer of Peony Garden Designer Series Paper, cut to 4″ x 5-/14″. Adhesive Sheet was added to the back of a piece of Whisper White CS and used the Many Medallions Die to die cut and then cut that in half to add to the card front.

The various parts of the Peony Flower were die cut from Petal Pink CS and then sponged with Petal Pink ink using a sponge dauber. They were then put together by matching up the notches on the bottom and using liquid glue.  THIS VIDEO on my YouTube Channel will show you how to easily assemble the flower. Old Olive CS was used to make the leaves and Basic Black CS was used for the very center of the flower. A few basic pearl jewels added the perfect touch to the front of the card.

Inside, the card I used the Prized Peony stamp set to stamp a few flowers across the bottom and the sentiment in the center using Petal Pink ink. The final touch was adding some DSP to the flap of the envelope. To do this, I glued a piece of 2-1/4″ x 6″ strip of DSP to the flap and trimmed off the excess using Paper Snips. This is a super easy was to add a big impact to the card.
