Hi Stampers. I was recently asked by one of my followers how to make a card made by fellow demo Tammy Beard.  My card today is Tammy’s layout adapted to my color pallet and stamp set bundle.

The Cajun Craze base of the card is a basic gatefold card – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 2-1/8″ from each side and then folded to meet in the middle. Over that card base I adhered three layered pieces.

Each strip starts with a piece of Brushed Metallic cardstock die cut using a die from the Ornate Layers dies, then a piece of Early Espresso CS cut with another die from the same die set.  On top is a strip of the Gilded Autumn DSP cut using the paper trimmer to fit over the top. The center piece has a strip of Very Vanilla CS die cut using the smallest die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Cajun Craze in was used to stamp the sentiment from the Gathered Together stamp set. The final touch is a Brushed Metallic leaf die cut using the Gathered Leaves Dies attached with a stampin’ dimensional.

The top and bottom layered strips were attached on the right side and the middle on to the left.  They were a bit too long, so I placed them so that the fancy edge was on the opposite side of where it was adhered and cut off the excess from the back using paper snips.

Inside the card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of the Gilded Autumn DSP followed by a piece of 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Very Vanilla CS, both adhered with Stampin’ Seal.  Before adhering the Very Vanilla Layer I stamped the wheat in Crumb cake ink and the sentiment and pumpkins in Cajun Craze ink. All three of these stamps are from the Gathered Together stamp set.
