Hi Stampers, on my last post I featured an Interlocking Gatefold card. See that post by clicking HERE. In that card I used the Gilded Autumn DSP and the Gather Together bundle. For this card, I’m using the Heartwarming Hugs DSP and the Wishes & Wonder stamp set (with an added sentiment from the Gnome for the Holidays set).
My card base for this card is a Shaded Spruce gatefold card base. The decorative Ornate Layers dies were used on Green Foil and another layer of Shaded Spruce CS. Heartwarming Hugs DSP adds a pop of white to my mostly monochromatic card.
The circle sentiment is from the Wishes & Wonder stamp set and was stamped onto a scrap of Whisper White CS in Shaded Spruce ink and punched out using the 1-1/2″ circle punch. A Little Christmas Wish sentiment, from the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set, was stamped onto another scrap of Whisper White (also in Shaded Spruce ink) and die cut using the smallest of the Stitched Rectangle dies.
For this card, the three layered strips are adhered to the opposite sides (when compared to my Gilded Autumn card), with the top and bottom adhered on the left and the middle strip adhered on the right side.
Inside the card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Red Foil paper. I stamped onto a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ layer of Whisper White CS. The sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink, the foliage in the upper left was stamped in Shaded Spruce ink and the sleigh was stamped in Memento Black ink.
Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend Combo pack was used to color the sleigh and add berries to the foliage. I just love how our Stampin’ Blends work so beautifully and are so easy to use! If you don’t have these yet – you want them!!
