Hi Stampers are you looking for a quick and easy gift idea that won’t break the bank?  I gotcha covered!  Well, I have a notepad cover for half of a Dollar Tree – covered in pretty DSP and cardstock. I made up the measurements as I went and explain how I did it in the video below. (Note: I cut the notepad in half and trimmed it a bit using my guillotine paper cutter, but you can also take it down to your local office supply store and they can cut a stack of them pretty cheap for you.)

The base of my notepad cover is a sheet of Highland Heather CS, followed by a layer of Seaside Spray CS and then Snowflake Splendor DSP.

My focal point on the front of my notepad cover is the die cut snowflakes, that were cut using the So Many Snowflakes Dies, which I’m excited to say will be carrying over and not retiring this year!

Inside is the notebook itself that has been topped with a small piece of DSP and then mounted onto Seaside Spray CS.  On the left there you can see the magnets for the closure.  The other magnets are on the opposite side on the right, under the DSP.

The front of the notepad  I cut two circles (one in Seaside Spray CS and one in Gorgeous Grape CS) and layered some die cut snowflakes over the top of those (Highland Heather, Seaside Spray and Purple Posy CS). The notepad cover was finished off by added a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the snowflakes.

I made this version by using the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper with Mossy Meadow and Early Espresso CS.

The edge on this notepad cover was made using the Curvy Dies.  The sentiment is from the Curvy Christmas Stamp set and layered using the Layering Circle Dies.

This notepad is slightly longer than the first one, but still closes using the mini magnets.
