Hi Stampers. I’m excited to show you today’s card. It’s a fun fold – and it’s EASY! I made this card during my Facebook Live class a few weeks ago on my Business Facebook Page. Have you liked my page and turned on the notifications?
Isn’t this card cute? The best part is how easy it really is! I started out with an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of Night of Navy CS and scored it at 5-1/2″ and 4-1/4″. Next I cut out the upper left quarter of the CS. This meant that the top right, will fold down and then the lower left would close over the lower right. You can see exactly how I did that in the video below.
A 4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Snowflake Splendor DSP was adhered to the front of the card and then I used the largest of the Layering Circles Dies to cut a peek a boo circle in the card front. I stamped the snowman once in Seaside Spray ink onto scraps of Whisper White CS and punched two of them out with the snowman builder punch. Next, using the Snowman Builder Punch I punched the arms out of Early Espresso CS, the nose out of Pumpkin Pie CS and two hats out of Basic Black CS.
The stamped snowman was adhered to the front of the card and the blank one to the inside of the card, the arms are adhered in between the two and a hat was added to either side. When you open the card there is a scene created using a Whisper White layer of CS 4″ x 5-1/4″. This layer has the trees from the Winter Woods stamp set stamped in Garden Green and snowflakes from the Snowman Season stamp set in Seaside Spray ink.
The snowdrifts were created using the Curvy Dies and Shimmer White CS and some leftover Sparkle Glimmer paper I had left over. (I couldn’t resist, the glimmer paper works so well for snow…).
Inside the card is another 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Whisper White CS. I stamped Seaside Spray snowflakes along the top and Garden Green trees int he lower right corner. The sentiments were stamped in Night of Navy ink.
Across the bottom of this layer is the left over piece from cutting the snowbank for the prior layer, it makes a nice mini snowdrift inside. 🙂
