Hi Stampers, I’ve been working hard behind the scenes working on bringing you an even better stamping experience! I’ve upped from blogging three days a week to five and have slipped in some super simple cards to go with the more complex, to give you a good mix. I hope you like it.
Today’s card is a quick and easy one. It starts with a Real Red card base. Next, I used the Curvy Dies to die cut the bottom edge of the card front with the fancy edge. Using the same die, I cut the edge of a 5-1/4″ x 3″ piece of the Snail Mail DSP.
Between the card front and the DSP is a layer of Basic White CS. To get that same curve without the detail, I aligned it with the edge of the card and carefully cut with paper snips. The sentiment and leaf spring, from the Quite Curvy stamp set, was stamped in Memento Black ink.
Inside the card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White CS. The bird, from the Quite Curvy stamp set, is stamped in Memento Black ink and colored using Stampin’ Blends. Careful placement insured that he can be seen clearly with the card closed.
