Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop Badge

Hi Stampers.  Well, we did it…  We made it though 2020.  Can you believe that Valentines Day will be here soon?  On one hand the last year feels like a blur and on the other hand it feels like we “snailed it” through the year.  So, it only seemed appropriate to use the new Snailed It Bundle (part of the Snail Mail Suite) for my Valentine’s Day for today’s blog hop.

My card starts off with a Blushing Bride card base followed by a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of the Snailed It DSP.  Using the Triple Banner Punch, I then flagged the end of a 1/2″ strip of Basic White CS (approximately 5″ long) and then stamped the word “hello” near the flagged end. Also using the Triple Banner Punch, I flagged the end of a 3/4″ and 1″ strip of the Snailed It DSP (various patterns, approx  5-1/2″ long).

With Memento Black ink, I stamped the snail onto a scrap of Basic White CS and colored it with the Stampin’ Blends. Using the Snail Dies, I die cut the snail out, a few hearts out of Real Red CS and a postage square out of Blushing Bride CS. Next up, I adhered the strips with Stampin’ Seal and the postage stamp and hearts with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Inside the card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White onto which I stamped the hearts and mushrooms. I used my AWESOME Stampin’ Blends to color.  I’m thrilled with how it came out!
