Hi Stampers. I have an adorable little desk caddy to share with you today. It holds a mini calendar, post-it notes and a pen.
This desk caddy is made using the Stitched Nested Labels. I cut two of the largest ones out of Pretty Peacock CS, two of the next size down in Just Jade CS and two of the next size down using the Forever Greenery DSP.
The mini calendar is mounted on a piece of Pretty Peacock CS. This CS was cut to 3-1/4″ x 7″, scored at 3-1/2″ and folded in half and adhering it together. (Basically just doubling up the CS to make it more sturdy.) Across the top is a 3-1/4″ x 3/4″ piece of Just Jade CS, followed by a 3-1/4″ x 1/2″ strip of the DSP for decoration.
The two sides of the desk caddy are adhered together with a piece of Pretty Peacock CS 9-1/4″ x 1-3/4″. This piece was scored on the long side 1/2″ from each edge. It was then scored across the short way at 1-1/2″, 3″, 6-1/4″ & 7-3/4″. A 1/2″ hole was punched in the center at one end, to hold the pen.
Adhesive was put on each one of the “flaps” and adhered to the side of the label as shown in diagram above.
When the desk caddy is finished it holds the calendar, a set of post it notes and the pen. How fun is that?!?
