Hi Stampers.  The training group I’m in has a catch phrase “snailed it”, when someone accomplishes something they had been dragging their feet on. I can think of many people that I could send this card to!

This Snailed It card started with a Daffodil Delight card base followed by a layer of the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper.  Across the bottom is a strip of Real Red CS. To get the stitching on that strip of Real Red CS, I used a die from the Happy Dies that just does a straight line of stitching. In between the two stitched lines is a strip of the Snail Mail DSP.

The cute little envelope is die cut using a die from the Snail Dies, then folded up and adhered together and to the card front using glue dots. There is also a small die that makes the heart that is adhered to the outside of the envelope, that is cut out of Real Red CS.

I love it when the dies cut images out of the Designer Series Paper!  The snail was die cut twice, once out of the DSP and once out of CS, using the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine.  I glued the two of them together adding strength do the snail so I could attach him using stampin’ dimensionals.

Stampin’ Tip:  When using the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine, you want to stagger the plates a bit.

Inside the card is a layer of Whisper White CS, with a strip of DSP on the left side and some die cut mushrooms in the lower right corner.  The sentiment, from the Snailed It stamp set, is stamped in the center using Real Red ink.
