Hi Stampers. Spring has sprung! Well, the calendar said it did anyway. As for Idaho, we got snow today! I’m done with snow for a while, I want flowers and butterflies. How about you, are you ready for some Brilliant Wings?
Today’s card is made with a mish mash of Stampin’ Up! products. The card base is Magenta Madness CS followed by a layer of the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. Next, I die cut a scallop rectangle of Magenta Madness CS and a scallop rectangle of Basic White CS. I used the splatter stamp (from the Peaceful Moments stamp set) and Basic Gray ink to stamp onto the Basic White scalloped rectangle.
The scalloped rectangle layers are adhered to each other with Stampin’ Seal and Adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using the Brilliant Wings dies, I die cut the solid butterfly from Pool Party CS and the detailed butterfly from the Butterfly Bijou DSP. Those are then adhered together with glue dots and to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. The sentiment, from Peaceful Moments stamp set, in Basic Gray ink onto a strip of Basic White. I also cut a strip of Just Jade CS, slightly larger and flagged both strips with the Triple Banner Punch. These were attached to each other with Stampin’ Seal and to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A few In-Color enamel dots, finishes the look.
Inside the card is a simple layer of Basic White CS with a 1/2″ strip of DSP on the left side.
