Hi Stampers. Thank you to those of you who purchased the Handsomely Suited Online Class. All invoices were sent out today. I intended to send them out Sunday, but we had a family emergency (my Mother In Law passed away) and we had to make a quick trip out of town. As promised, I will be providing you with more ideas to use the Suit & Tie Dies.
This super cute Leprechaun suit, starts with a Thick Basic White card base. These cards need to be starting from the background toward to top layers. The collar was added next and then the vest and then the suit jacket. The vest was made using the Hydrangea Hill DSP. I used the V die – like I did on the Basic Black layer for the jacket, but I cut it apart at the bottom of the V and overlapped them. (I actually have a FB live video on how to make this card that will appear on my YouTube channel. You are subscribed over there, aren’t you?!?!).
For this second version, I switched out the Basic Rhinestone Jewels (colored with a Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blend) for die cut buttons and crossed the vest over a little higher up on the shirt. For the coins to appear to be “in” the pockets, I adhered them first and then adhered the die cut strip of pocket over the top.
To give this card a bit of dimension, I adhered the top of the lapel with Stampin’ Dimensionals and liquid glue a the bottom. The tie is also adhered with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
Inside the card, I simply stamped the sentiments (from the A Wish For Everything stamp set) in Garden Green.
