Hi Stampers. Can you believe we only have a few days until the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog retires! I’m in a big rush to show you all the cards I’ve created with these retiring products. Today, it’s two Thinking of You cards using the Forever Greenery DSP and the Stitched Nested Labels (oh, how I’m going to miss those!).
My first Thinking of You has a card base is a retiring 2019-2021 In Color, Pretty Peacock. This CS sold out shortly after the last chance sale was announced. As a backdrop, I covered the front of the card with a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Forever Greenery DSP. Next, I die cut a layer of Basic White CS and a layer of Pretty Peacock CS using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.
The Thinking of You sentiment, from Peaceful Moments, was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink onto the Basic White label. Using Stampin’ Seal, I adhered the two labels together and then adhered them to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The flowers were diecut from Bumblebee & Just Jade CS, adhered to each other and the card front with glue dots. A few enamel dots finish it off.
Along the left side of the inside layer, I used the leaves from To A Wild Rose and stamped them in Just Jade & Pretty Peacock ink.
For my second Thinking of You card, I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies with Basic White and Just Jade CS. Again, I used the Thinking of You sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and stamped in Pretty Peacock ink.
The two labels were adhered together using Stampin’ Seal and to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. As a final touch, I added a few ladybug trinkets to the left and right side on the Just Jade label.
This time, I used the leaves from To A Wild Rose in Pretty Peacock & Just Jade ink across the bottom of the inside layer. Which card to you like better?
