Hey Girlfriend, welcome to a Crafty Challenge Blog Hop! Our challenge this month is the 2021-2023 In Colors! The new in-colors are beautiful and work well together.
Earlier this month, I participated in the Stampin’ Pretty Pals blog hop and did one card in each of the five colors, using the new Color & Contour bundle. You can see them HERE.
I chose to use Positively Pink as my card base – it’s goes beautifully with the Hey Girlfriend stamp set. Have you seen the new Give It a Whirl Dies? They are on page 163 in the catalog and can be easily over looked.
Using those Give It A Whirl Dies, I die cut a layer of Basic White CS for my card front. At the same time, I die cut the opening for the words to show. The girls and dog were stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends.
The dies have a scallop circle that fits perfectly behind the front panel. Using Positively Pink ink, I stamped the three sentiments from the Hey Girlfriend set onto the circle. They are adhered together with a brad and attached to the card front with stampin’ dimensionals, giving it room to spin.
Inside the Hey Girlfriend card is another layer of Basic White CS. The balloons and cat were stamped in Memento Black and colored with Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment is stamped in the middle in Positively Pink ink. Remember, this is a hop, so don’t stop here – leave a comment and then pop on over to the next blog using the list below.
