Hi Stampers. The other day I shared a card made using the Diorama Dies to make a clam. While I had them out, i couldn’t resist making these Diorama Dies Eggs. How cute is this?!?!
This Diorama Dies Eggs & Bacon card started with a Crumb Cake card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″
The egg is cut from Basic White CS using the Layering Diorama Dies. I used the smallest Layering Circle Die to make the yolk for the egg.
Crystal Effects was used to cover the entire Daffodil Delight circle (I let this dry overnight). The pieces of the egg were adhered together and then to the card front using Stampin’ Seal.
For the bacon, I cut strips of Crumb Cake CS using the Paper Ships. I made the sides a little wavy to make it look more realistic. Using Calypso Coral & Cajun Craze inks and the water painters, I painted strips on the strips of CS.
After I painted the “bacon”, I used the bone folder to curve it and then attached it to the card using glue dots.
Inside the Diorama Dies Eggs & Bacon card is a layer of Basic White CS with the sentiment stamped in Cajun Craze ink. It says “I’m sorry for what I said when I was hangry”. This stamp is from the Lighthearted Lines stamp set. Hungry + Angry = Hangry Do you get it? LOL

OMG! This is so cute! Who doesn’t love bacon!? RIGHT!! Isn’t that the saying? This card is so inventive … talk about using supplies in a different way. GREAT.
Have a blessed day.
Here’s an idea…flick a bit of black ink on the egg to look like pepper, then sponge a little Soft Suede around the edges of the egg so it looks fried! Yum!
Cute idea!!! Now I want breakfast!
Brilliant idea! I love it & your creativity!
