Hi Stampers. Are you familiar with a one sheet wonder? Do you ever find your self in need of alot of cards FAST or with extra DSP to use up? A one sheet wonder may be just what you need! This month you can get your hands on TWENTY-FOUR of them by placing an order with me of $30 or more (and using this months hostess code). Each month I have a Customer Appreciation PDF and this month it’s a wowzer! This packet was put together by a number of us Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, today I’m showing you my entry – AND giving you a video! Don’t forget to place an order using the hostess code 6AYMZDTE to get the rest of them.
My one sheet wonder today, makes six cards! I chose to use the Tidings of Christmas DSP, but it can be done with ANY Designer Series Paper.
This diagram shows where the cuts were made for this One Sheet Wonder.
Card 1:
This card uses the two 1″ x 3″ strips of DSP. I added in two 1″ x 3″ strips of Real Red CS and one of Soft Succulent CS. Soft Succulent and Very Vanilla CS make up my label. The sentiment, from Perfectly Plaid, is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink. The final touch is the tree punched out of Evening Evergreen CS, with a small rhinestone on top.
Card 2:
This is one of the two cards using the 4″ square of DSP that was cut in half diagonally. There is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Soft Succulent CS over the Evening Evergreen card base. Using the Basic Border Dies, I die cut a Real Red border to poke from underneath. Real Red and Very Vanilla CS were used to make my sentiment labels. The sentiment, from Peaceful Deer, is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink.
Card 3:
This card uses the 4″ x 2″ piece of DSP. It is backed by a 4-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ layer of Real Red CS. The sentiment, from Perfectly Plaid, is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink onto a label cut from Very Vanilla CS using the Tasteful Label Dies.
Card 4:
Card four also uses a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Soft Succulent CS and then uses those tiny triangles. They may be small, but they do add something to the card, don’t you think? Using the Tasteful Label Dies, I die cut the labels from Very Vanilla and Real Red CS. Evening Evergreen ink was used for the sentiment, as well as the trees and snowflakes in the corners.
Card 5:
This card is very similar to card two, in that it uses the other half of the 4″ square that was cut diagonally. To change it up, I made this one portrait orientation (the other was landscape). The sentiment is stamped onto a strip of Very Vanilla in Evening Evergreen ink. I cut a slightly larger Real Red strip to back it and then flagged the end of both using the Banner Pick a Punch. Some Linen Thread is wrapped around the right side and then it’s mounted to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Card 6:
In the way that card two and card five were similar, this card is similar to card four. This time the corners were pushed further into the corner of the Soft Succulent layer (no border) and the card is turned portrait orientation. I also changed up the sentiment, die cutting the labels out of Real Red and Very Vanilla CS using the Tasteful Labels Dies. Below is a video tutorial on my one sheet wonder that goes into more detail.
