Hi Stampers. Welcome to another Crafty Collaborations blog hop, this time our theme is “Autumn”, so I pulled out the Love of Leaves stamp set and Stitched Leaves Dies. I love the Stitched Leaves dies because each leaf is two pieces, one for the overall shape and another to add the stitching to the inside of the leaf.  You can use the stitched part or not – your choice.  This give so many more possibilities to this set!

My card started with a Soft Succulent card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. Next, I used a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of In The Wild DSP and added a 1-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of the cork paper on the left side.  When I first saw the cork in the catalog, I worried that it would be too thick to work with, but it’s actually really thin and on a thin paper base for easy use. I wrapped a piece of Evening Evergreen ribbon around this layer adhering on the back side, before adhering to the card front.

For the focal point, I combined several of the leaves, cut from Cinnamon Cider, Crushed Curry and Merry Merlot CS using the Stitched Leaves Dies. Using the Label Me Lovely punch, I punched a label out of Very Vanilla CS and another out of Soft Succulent CS. I used Evening Evergreen to stamp the sentiment onto the Very Vanilla label and cut the Soft Succulent one in half and adhered it to the Very Vanilla one with a little color poking out from each side. These were then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and tucked the leaves in behind.

Inside the card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Very Vanilla with the sentiment stamped in the center in Soft Succulent ink. Using a few different leaves from the Love of Leaves stamp set, I stamped leaves in the corners using Soft Succulent,  Merry Merlot and Cinnamon Cider inks.
