Happy FRIDAY, Stampers.  Let’s take a break from all the holiday cards and flashback to some flowers. The first time I saw the Pansy Patch bundle, I knew I loved it.  I love all the detail that the Pansy Dies give to this pansy – they cut AND emboss at the same time!

This fold is a simple one, it starts with a Gorgeous Grape card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″.

Next, 1-1/4″ was removed from the left and right side of the card front. To cover the front of the card I cut Pansy Patch DSP,  2-3/4″ x 4 for the center and two strips 1″ x 4″ for the sides.

Using the Pansy Dies, I die cut the pieces for the Pansy out of CS scraps that had adhesive sheet on the back.  The adhesive sheet made this much simpler to assemble.

The pansy was assembled on / attached to an oval of Pansy Patch DSP with a mix of Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals. This oval is then attached to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Inside the card is a 2-3/4″ x 4″ layer of Basic White CS. Note: I have not yet stamped the sentiment becasue I don’t know what occasion I will use this card for. I will add that later. This allows me to build up a supply of cards that can be used when needed.
