Hi Stampers. Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “My Favorite Things.” The Design Team will be showcasing their favorite products from any of the current products and you might even see some sneak peeks, as well! We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I’ve been around Stampin’ Up! a LONG time and “my favorite thing” kinda changes with my mood. This month, I’d have to say that Stampin’ Blends are my favorite! They make me look like I actually have artistic talent in coloring.
My card starts with a piece of Soft Succulent CS 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Next, I used the Delightful Tag Topper Punch to punch the left and right side of the card base. Using the Paper Trimmer, I cut off the CS on the sides of the Tag Topper Punched edge. I made a score on the right edge of the card, allowing the tag topper part to fold into the card. The next score line is 4-1/4″ to the left and folded in.
For the front of the card I used a piece of Real Red CS 2-1/2″ x 5-1/4″, followed by a piece of Basic White CS 2-1/4″ x 5″. The legs and dress of the lady was stamped onto this Basic White layer using Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends. The arms and packages were stamped onto a scrap of Basic White CS, colored with Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut out using Paper Snips.
The packages were adhered to the card front (above the dress) using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment, from Delivering Cheer was stamped above that using Soft Succulent ink.
Inside the card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Real Red CS, followed by a 3-3/4″ x 5″ layer of Basic White CS. I stamped the packages onto the lower right corner of the Basic White layer using Memento Black ink. The two layers were then adhered together and then to the inside of the card using Stampin’ Seal. The packages were colored with Stampin’ Blends.
Stampin’ Tip: When I stamped the packages, I let the “arms” hang off the edge of the Basic White layer onto the scrap paper.
I have included a video I filmed in 2014 that shows how this fold is made.

Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on January 12th. Our theme will be “Time to Sale-A-Brate” when our Design Team will showcase items from Sale-A-Bration as the focal point of their project.. Until then, have fun in your craft space.
