Hi Stampers. Happy Friday! We are Sailing Home into the weekend. Did you figure out the theme this week? We made masculine cards.
I was sad to see the Come Sail Away DSP retire, especially since we carried over the Sailing Home stamp set and Smooth Sailing dies. Then we didn’t get any new nautical DSP.
Stampin’ Tip: Did you know that you can create your own DSP using your stamps? I used a piece of Basic White CS and randomly stamped the anchor and compass. from the Sailing Home stamp set, all over. If you do this with an entire sheet of CS you have DSP for several cards.
I wanted to use the lighthouse stamp, from the Sailing Home stamp set, inside my card but it was a bit too big. No problem, I stamped the lighthouse onto the layer with the bottom part stamping onto my grid paper.
