Hi, Stampers. I think I’m in love with the new In The Moment stamp set. This image of the gal with a book, her dog, and coffee represents me the last few weeks.  I caught Covid for my birthday…. 🙁  Thankfully, it’s been a mild case.  I feel like I have a bad cold with a cough and I’m extra tired. I’ve been told by many that the fatigue hangs around for a long time.

Stampin' Up! In The Moment girl reading handmade card by Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations

My card starts with a Polished Pink card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. This is followed by a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Fresh Freesia CS and then a 3-3/4″ x 5″ layer of Basic White CS. The girl reading, from the In The Moment stamp set, is stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends.

After coloring the image, I placed a mask over the card (a piece of CS with a large circle in the middle) and used the blending brushed to brush Balmy Blue ink around the top of my image.

The sentiment was stamped onto a 4″ x 3/4″ strip of Basic White CS in Memento Black ink. Using the Banner Pick a Punch, I flagged the end of the Basic White strip and a 4″ x 1″ strip of Balmy Blue CS. The two strips were adhered together with Stampin’ Seal and I wrapped lined thread around the left side. These were adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Inside the card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White CS. The sentiment, from In The Moment stamp set, is stamped in Memento Black ink.  I used the same mask (with the large circle) and the blending brushes to brush Balmy Blue ink around the sentiment. I just love the look that it give it! What do you think?
