Hi, Stampers. As I sit here looking at my yard covered in snow as we are deep into another year of Covid lockdown, I yearn for another (Timeless Tropical) cruise to the Caribbean. Since I can’t do that, I’m sharing some tropical cards instead.
This Timeless Tropical easel card starts with a Daffodil Delight card base 11″ x 4-1/4″, scored at 5-1/2″ and 2-3/4″. Next up is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Mossy Meadow CS and then a 3-3/4″ x 5″ layer of Basic White. I started my tropical scene by using a template (cut with the Basic Borders Dies) as a mask to sponge on the clouds in Balmy Blue ink and a little Crumb Cake ink at the bottom.
The stamping is done using the Timeless Tropical stamp set. I got the two colors on the palm trees and pineapple by inking with the brush tip end of the Stampin’ Write markers.
This second Timeless Tropical card has a Mossy Meadow card base and a 3-3/4″ x 5″ layer of the Brights DSP pack. The pineapples (also from the Timeless Tropical stamp set) are stamped onto a piece of Basic White CS punched out using the Postage Stamp Punch. Those postage stamps were then added to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For my third and final card today, I used a Thick Basic White card base – 11″ x 4-1/4″, scored at 5-1/2″. The front was cut in half at 2-3/4″. All the layers were added and then the card front that was cut off was turned 90 degrees and attached on the left side. The stamp used is a demonstrator exclusive stamp set. Isn’t it cute!?!?
