Hi, Stampers. Today I’m sharing the first of two cards I did on a recent livestream. These cards feature the Stampin’ Up! Tulip Fields bundle.
Here are the two cards that were made during the video below.
This card starts with a Balmy Blue card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. The stamping was done onto a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer (and a scrap for windmill) of Basic White CS.
To create the clouds I used a mask (created using the Basic Borders Dies) and Blending Brushes to brush Balmy Blue ink across the top of this layer. Next, the tulip layers are stamped in Poppy Parade, Gorgeous Grape and Bumblebee inks. The windmill is stamped in Early Espresso ink and colored with the Stampin’ Blends.
Inside the card is another 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White CS with the clouds brushed across the top (a lighter version). The sentiment (from Lovely You) is stamped in the center in Poppy Parade ink. I happened to have a layer of the tulip fields that was stamped in correctly, so I cut it into strips and one of those strips was glued across the bottom of this layer. Below is the video on how to make this card.
