Hi, Stampers. Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and I have a super fun slider card for you today (more versions of the same are coming Monday – on Valentine’s Day).

Stampin' Up! Sweet Talk Interactive Simple Slider Valentines Card by Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations

Today’s slider card starts out with a Coastal Cabana card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. A layer of Brushing Bride CS, 4″ x 5-1/4″, is adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I used the Rectangle Stitched Dies to die cut the window in the 3-3/4″ x 5″ layer of Sweet Talk DSP.

The sentiment is stamped in Coastal Cabana ink, onto a piece of Basic White CS, slightly larger than the window opening. This will be adhered to the Blushing Bride layer using Stampin’ Seal. Foam Adhesive Strips help me turn this card into a slider card. View the video below to see how I did this.

The Layering Circles Dies were used to make the scalloped circle that will be the stopper on the slider part of our card.  There is also a small circle of the Shimmer Paper added to the end of the 1″ x 4″ strip of Basic White CS. This circle has a rougher surface than the CS and helps one grip the slider to pull it.

Inside the card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White CS.  I used the Sweet Conversations stamp set with Polished Pink and Highland Heather inks to stamp the interior. This layer is then added to the inside of the card using Stampin’ Seal.  Who would you give this card to?
